Maybe because I listened to the audiobook, but it seemed like there was not a lot of variety in this collection. So the same narrator made the stories kind of blend for me. It was definitely noir. I learned a little bit about Beirut, but I have a lot more questions about its history since the 70s. Hard to recommend because many of the stories were depressing and disturbing.
