This book was a perfect mix of horror and mystery and I loved the characters. The ending did feel a bit too rushed and unresolved in some ways.

I enjoyed reading Clare's journey in this book. I did feel the ending was rushed; we didn't see much of the resolution besides a handful of pages. On a side note, I don't think I would've been able to go into the Octagon House once, let alone three times.
