I really enjoyed the reader of this audiobook, and the premise of the stories tied to plants was interesting. But the more I listened, the more stories folded in stereotypes and hurtful myths about disability. I know that these are stories with old, old origins, so I can see why it's not full of more contemporary understandings of disability, but it wasn't really fun to listen to those stories. It's not all of them, but enough of them that I don't think I'd listen again and I probably wouldn't recommend it without a heads up about that aspect of the book.
