A sweet book about the pleasure, if not virtues, of being a Reader. Would absolutely recommend for a bookworm teen, especially one who is interested in anime. The ukiyo-e inspired book art is also gorgeous!

I think Japanese literature is just not for me. The pacing is off, I don’t like the writing style, and the story itself is so melodramatic. Like, we get it, books are great.

Tiger’s personality is really represented how cat acts in real life. I give it 4⭐️ bcs i love cat and that many books are mentioned here :D otherwise it’s a simple and light story.
