I took an astrology course years ago and this is the one book the astrologer recommended for beginners and I very much understand why now that I’ve completed it. This is an exceptionally well-written and thorough guide that’s perfect for anyone wanting to learn and really understand the fundamentals of astrology. I can already see myself going back to this book over and over again to reference material and strengthen my practice.

I enjoyed this book and learned quite a bit. I could read about Leos and agree with what was said, instead of the usual stereotype. The people who know astrology are aware that there are many Leo personalities. He didn't say that they're all outgoing (you'd be surprised how many do). I do have to point out, that although he's a good writer, there were many typos and punctuation mistakes. They were distracting and I wonder how they were even missed. The detail oriented people will know what I'm talking about. Make sure to take good notes as you read and flip back and forth to get a good understanding of the material. Actually go through his steps. Towards the end was difficult for me as a beginner and I was getting overwhelmed, but it's best to have more than one book for interpreting your chart.
