Ken Follett finds a way to write everything perfectly the way this situation would happen: the main characters acted level-headed in their actions. This is what is terrifying about this book, it can feasibly happen. Even with the best intentions, people can suffer.

Straight up American propaganda, this book is admittedly probably rather accurate in how the world will be wiped out however that didn’t make it more compelling, it just made me angrier.
Moderate: Sexual assault, Colonisation, War, Violence, Trafficking, Blood, Child abuse, Slavery, Racism, Cursing, Death, Physical abuse, and Religious bigotry
