It took a while for this book to take off, but once it did, I flew through it. A good story with a lot of twists. I would've liked there to be more. More depth to certain scenes and more connection to the main characters. I'm sad that book 2 covers a different main character because I would've liked to keep on reading from Scarletts point of view.

I liked the story, but I really didn't like Scarlette as a narrator I didn't want to be inside her head. All of the thoughts she had were a little too intense for me. I loved all of the descriptions of feelings as colors and I liked the ending, because it was unpredictable.

“Sometimes the only way to find what you’re searching for is to get lost.”
I throughly enjoyed this. I liked not knowing what was real or what was fake and the adventure the story took. Didn’t expect that ending or who had all the cards in their hands.
