I love this series, but this book just didn't manage to hit the highs I've come to expect from the author. There is tons of action, and C is finally, finally getting that she doesn't need to do everything. As usual the lore is amazing. I'm hoping that in the next read everyone can just get a break.
Exhaustion
I really enjoy this series. I will buy the next and last one without doubt. I'm still annoyed by mistaken use of words, like 'reek' and 'wreak', but I think that that's something the editor should catch. In this installment, I became very worried about the author. There is a hint of exhaustion in the characters. Although this actually fits in very well with the action and plot in the book, it still worries me. Will both the author and the characters mske it through to the end? There's a cliffhanger for you!

100 % RECOMMEND. l cannot impress upon you how satisfying, intense and well written this book is. I will be dreaming of all these scenes and creatures within this story and the compassion shown to others by the princess. I have so much to say here but they are best kept fresh for you to read about yourself for maximum impact. I only hope the author will release this series in audio. I will definately listen.
