Took me a while to finish this, never thought I’d ever say this but too much smut!!!! The sex scenes went on and on, it made it difficult to read especially in the beginning. I liked the murder mystery in the second half though.

It just one of those guilty pleasure reads when you get tired of reading YA or NA and just need a good kick in the pants to get started up again--That just came out wrong. Let's just say if you just need a steamy 19th century read just pick up one of Mrs.Page's books. It'll get you out of your book reading rumps. I'm giving this book 2 stars because I just liked it.

yeah....so...I didn't think a book could make me blush so much...this did.
This is one of those books, you never tell people you read, you just lock yourself away and read it in one sitting...
The scenes in this book are graphic and NOT for the faint of heart, but if you like that sort of thing...this will definitely entertain.
Having said that...the main characters are endearing and you learn to swoon at the protective nature of Marcus and the fiery spirit of Venetia...yeah, those are their names. :)
For a scorchy, blush inducing romance: definitely recommend.
