Colleen Hoover is a great story teller. I've read enough of her books to know it and to keep reading everything that she writes. With that being said I did not fell in love with this story as I usually do.

Tell me you live a very toxic relationship without telling me that you live a very toxic relationship. This is the story behind Ugly Love. I understand Miles tragic past and in no way, shape or form I'm undermining the pain that something like that must change your life forever... and I also know that he defined pretty simples rules... but he is just a very idiot of a man. And Tate is a woman that can't stand up for herself and that annoys me. No man in this world is that good looking or that good in bed to make her endure such things.  Tate is a cliche of a woman that sees a broken man and wants to help him, change him... Girl, he told you exactly how things would happen and you got mad when things happened the ways he told you they would.

Ugly Love indeed.

** i usually don’t change ratings but i loved this book, i just dont see it comparing to my other 5⭐️** ( i do not condone some of miles actions and didnt realize after a while about the counter scene etc** I read this in four hours. This book took my entire soul and didn’t let it go, it’s so insane how addicting coho’s writing is? like it’s honestly written to be inhaled, i don’t know how she doesn’t. Even the bad reviews, agreed with that statement. Regardless I love tate, Corbin, Ian, and Miles. I can see why people would hate miles but i feel like he had a lot of trauma and it was wrong what he did but he uncovered a lot of himself. He was slowly breaking and the story could see this. i literally adored the ending, it was such a super adorable ending. I personally love happy ever after endings so i’m not mad. I love how they incorporated their jobs into the book and I love how each character had certain parts of them you’d hear about them. It’s spicy so if you don’t like it then i would still recommend just skip the scenes because the book is still super good!

There was not a single moment in Miles and Tate's relationship that was not absolutely smothered in red flags why is this so highly rated.
Also the sex scenes are just poorly written and repetitive, which is a pretty bad thing when the relationship in question is based purely on sex and it being super good.
TBH I could write an in-depth review of this but I don't really want to think about it anymore so I'm not going to.

I laughed, cried and smiled at this book. This is my first Colleen Hoover read but definitely won’t be my last! I love this book. It was so raw and genuine. Never felt so many emotions while reading this book. I loved it.
