This is a graphic novel. It definitely takes some getting used to, but it was funny. I love the Evanovich sense of humor. Seems to run in the family. I think it's awesome that Janet and her daughter worked together on this graphic novel. I can't wait to read the next one. I fully recommend this!
Quick and easy, lighthearted action comic with a bit of romance. Didn't hate it. You would probably enjoy it more, if you had read the first two novels before these.
It was okay. Rather sexist in my opinion. Story was a little out there, but entertaining enough.

A very light story in the style of Stephanie Plum, except it's set in Florida.
A good reading palate cleaner between two weightier works (The Dream House and Real Life).
Art work reminded me, a little, of comics I read as a kid.
Was good to see both a known woman author and a woman artist collaborating.
Good but not great, worth a try but I won't really look out for more.

This was wicked funny with awesome illustrations and your typical Evanovich formula. Loved it and definitely am going to recommend it to my mom whom is a huge Janet fan.
If I could give less than a star, I would. Although the illustrations are eye-catching and adorable (Hunter is a cartoon babe!), it wasn't enough for me to want to continue this series. In the beginning of the novel, I had a hard time figuring out what was even going on. I had to read several pages multiple times and still felt confused. We are randomly introduced to characters with a full page spread for each, EXCEPT for Rosa, the one character that everyone is concerned with saving. The story felt lacking and very short. I must say, I was rather disappointed. One of the reasons I like Evanovich is because she makes me laugh out loud. This only confused me and left me frustrated. Kudos to Joëlle Jones, though. Beautiful colors, bold images, wonderfully cute images that captivated me and kept me entertained while the story did not. I think in the future I'll look for more of Joëlle Jones work.
