I am crying and I am mad and I am heartbroken. I am an incoherent, blubbery mess. Why did I read this book? I should have known I couldn't handle it. Jojo Moyes, you are a brilliant writer but I kind of hate you right now. Why would you do this to us?

I just want to read this book all over again and hope that a new ending will magically write itself. An unrealistic but happy ending. Ugh I just don't know. I kept holding on to that tiny hope of a happy ending, even though things just obviously weren't going the right way, and that just made things a lot worse for me in the end.

This book gave me the experience every reader craves. I laughed, out loud, so many times. And felt the tug of the heart strings even more often. It has the perfect balance of all the emotions, with plot development that is lovely and unpredictable. This is my The Fault in our Stars for 2013. It does swear more than TFIOS and isn't YA, but it just brought me so much joy. My real sorrow is that it's over.
