I'm a little confused about what genre this book is. It's a little bit chick-lit, a little bit crime drama, a little bit ghost story, and a little bit animal fantasy.
Overall it had a somewhat satisfactory HEA ending, but I feel there was some unrealistic portrayals about chain of custody of evidence and confessions under duress, but I guess if someone's dead neighbor is helping train dogs, anything else can happen, too.

This was meh I thought the story line was cool until the ghost came into play and it kinda didn’t make sense??
Loved trixie and the dogs (also the fact she donated a bunch of bullet proof vest for police dogs is muaw)

I like the storyline of this his book, but the writing feels very young. It’s reads like a YA novel. It also jumps multiple times when a scene could’ve been fleshed out better or a better transition used. It’s not a bad story at all, but the execution could’ve been so much better.
