I was going to write that this is a modern Handmaid’s Tale, but it’s not of course because that book is still all too relevant. This is a chilling and all too possible narrative, made all the more so for the ever increasing calls of a return to “traditional roles”. A very good, if concerning, read.

I loved the concept of this book and it was pretty gripping once the plot was moving. However, I was disappointed with the rushed ending and lack of detail
