Cat and Bones relationship is a sexy unbreakable bond. The forces of ghosts try to break them, torture and kill. Love and belief in each other always works for them. Too bad they aren't the only ones involved, snoopy government jerks, crazy dead folks and screaming women interfere . Not as intense as previous books in the series for me. A nice easy continuation of the series.

Kramer is such a good (extremely evil) villain! I love how Frost based him on an actual man.
One thing that I really liked about this book was that the villain wasn’t our normal villain... he’s a ghost and is only solid 1 day a year, so Cat can’t run in with her knives and guns blazing!
I wish there would be been more Cat and Bones time though. Their relationship was definitely put on the back burner here. I also really missed Vlad!! And Mencheres. But mostly Vlad.

I loved this book. There were some laugh out loud moments via the character Ian who is not in the book near enough. And obviously Bones, as always, makes me swoon. Cat kicks ass, surprise surprise. I can't say I'm a fan of how powerful she is as a new vampire, but whatever. It's not like there isn't a good excuse. Can't have the mc kicking ass as a pre-vamp, then weak post-vamp. I get it. Wouldn't be right! :-) And as per Jeaniene's usual, she found some new and interesting way to change up the steamy scene. A little over the top, but I give her props for originality.

Jeaniene Frost never disappoints. Loved this new Cat and Bones adventure. A lot of action as always. There is a new guy in town and he has it in for Cat. Cat is tracking a ghost with so much evil in him that he is still able to kill. He targets women and Cat is in a race to find his 3 new targets. Can she and Bones find them in time and save them? Some old favorites so up in this new book. It was such a good read, that I read it in one day. Looking forward to her next book.

3.5 stars? It's just because I miss Mencheres and Vlad. Why is the gang incomplete??? Plus, Cat and Bones sexy times are getting lesser and lesser.

I really don't like either Cat or Bones which makes these a funny series to read for light fluff but I do like Frost's writing style so occasionally I do a quick read of one. They are super fast popcorn snacky kind of books.
