Highly entertaining, anyone who likes ridiculous science questions as well as geek humor will love this.

A fun little science romp

What temperature would a chainsaw need to be at in order to instantly cauterize any injuries it inflicts? I need to know by Friday...

Excelente. Un libro muy divertido e ingenioso, me hizo reir demasiado mientras lo leía. Completamente recomendado.

Very funny and scientific :)

I have never laughed harder at a science book in my life. The informative answers to ridiculous questions are entertainingly written and supplemented by helpful and hilarious stick figure illustrations. (Oddly this title is offered as an audio-book... have no idea how that'd work.) Learn whether you can: swim near nuclear fuel rods without dying (surprisingly, yes), build a periodic table of elements out of the real elements themselves (quickly, fataly, NO), or actually live on a small supermassive meteor ala The Little Prince (sort of).

I was already a fan of Munroe's xkcd webcomic, but didn't realize he also did a "What If" column. Tis (impossibly!) even better than the comics.

What if....you just want to let your mind wander through someone else's random and quirky thoughts and learn some fun science on the way. And what if...you want to laugh out loud while doing it? Then read this book.

I did the audio version and Will Wheaton rocked it.

Takhle vypadá dokonalost!
Tato kniha jasně ukazuje, že i literatura faktu může být vtipná.
Už jenom to, že jsem ji přečetl za jediný den o něčem vypovídá.
