I was expecting a book with only physics. I didn't read any reviews, and I just started reading without any expectations. I was not prepared for this level of humor. Humor, cartoons and strange but so interesting questions. I finished it in less than a day, and I took so many pictures on the pages, so now if I browse the phone I'll feel like rereading the book again.

Entertaining, but a word to the wise: I really don't think this is a book to binge-read.

Reread November 2020: Still an excellent book. Doesn't lose a bit of humor or interest on the second time around.

Original Review:

It's an entire book of weird questions, answered in serious-but-sometimes-snarky/sarcastic fashion by the author of one of the two best stick-figure webcomics on the internet. Of course I enjoyed it. I stayed up way too late reading it several nights too, and I'm excited to read How To as soon as I get my hands on it.

Cautions? The author is very fond of explosions and setting things on fire and such. If something is going to explode, he will not hesitate to inform you. If you're a Christian, be aware that he is not and it affects his worldview in ways that do show up in the book. But I wouldn't let that stop you from reading it; it's a great book, and you'll probably learn something reading it. I did.

English not being my first language made this book a bit hard to understand at times, with all the scientific words. Guess that's why it took me over a year to finish it.

Fun. Makes you want to brush up on your physics!

This was okay. I liked a few of the hypotheticals more than others but got distracted and never made it back to the book. So I think I got to about 35% Maybe I'll try again later when I'm in the mood for it.

Will Wheaton narrated it very well though.

SCIENCE!
