I love the idea of this book !!! but it's actual application quickly gets tedious and overwhelming for someone with limited knowledge and interest in physics.

What if there were actually no stupid questions? What if you treated everything people asked you in a scientific and logical approach?
This books gives a glimpse into what such a world would entail, and unsurprisingly, is absolute fun to read. I would definitely recommend reading it at least once.

Lots of fun with science thrown so it all makes sense.

Ab excellent book, funny and entertaining. Will Weaton was a very good narrator for the audiobook version. Crazy questions answered scientifically but at the same time in a very entertaining way. Great book.

Interesting. I probably won’t remember many of the fun facts but I was definitely entertained.

The book itself is hilarious and deserving of 4 stars. However, I STRONGLY encourage you to seek out the audiobook narrated by none other than Mr. Wil Wheaton. I think if I was reading these equations and stats on my own, I would get lost and not be able to appreciate it as much. But Wheaton’s delivery allowed to me enjoy all this useless research. I will never use any of this information in life. It’s the most interesting textbook I’ve ever read though. I especially enjoyed the Weird & Worrying Questions! I laughed so much throughout this book, but more so during those breaks.

Highly recommend to those nerds who enjoy things that are delightfully ridiculous.

This book is so funny. Beyond that, I can't say any more than the title already says.

So much fun! I laughed and laughed but also learned. Loved this book and it's so wonderful to see science promoted for mainstream interests. xkcd is wonderful and this book is a heaping serving of it.

One of those "absurd" hypothetical questions was about if the whole world tried to quarantine for a couple weeks. That answer aged interestingly since publishing.
