Lena se jako au pair vydává do maloměsta Green Valley v Coloradu. Nečekala tam na ni ale jen sympatická rodinka, hory a příroda, ale do jejího nového domova přibyl jeden protivný člen domácnosti.

Chemie mezi hlavními hrdiny byla skvělá. Bavilo mě jejich pošťuchování, jiskřilo to, ti dva zkrátka neměli chybu. I když to bylo jedno velké klišé za druhým a já určité scény předpovídala dopředu, bylo to zároveň tak moc roztomilé, že mi nevadilo téměř nic.

Ze začátku mě trochu iritovalo slovo "iPhone", ale pak přišla na řadu krásně popsaná krajina a vše bylo odpuštěno. Hodně jsem si oblíbila i vedlejší postavy a doufám, že se co nejdřív dočkáme příběhu Izzy a Willa.

Čtenářky Mony Kasten, Laury Kneidl, ale třeba i Kasie Westové, tohle chcete číst. Nic nedokáže tak moc zlepšit náladu jako feel-good romantická kniha (a Nové začátky navíc patří k těm nejlepším v letošním roce).

Lena und Ryan. Die beiden haben sich heimlich in mein Herz geschlichen, und werden wohl auch für immer ein wenig dort bleiben. Ich habe eine neue Wohlfühlreihe gefunden! Green Valley hat mich die Berge und Schnee vermissen lassen. Ich habe mich ins Green Leaf, ins Olly’s, zum Pumpkin Festival und in die Rocky Mountains geträumt und jede Sekunde mit Lena mitgefühlt. Eine absolute Leseempfehlung. Band 2 wird sofort als Nächstes angefangen. Ich freue mich unglaublich auf Izzys und Wills Geschichte.
