I really liked this. Despite the bad reviews I really liked this. This was the culmination of a few years worth of story telling. It fit the current political climate as well. My only complaint is that far too much of the story is told elsewhere. Other than that I dug it. The art, the story, the flashbacks all the way to infinity war, it was good.

Horrible. Más allá de las quejas contra Nick Spencer, Secret Empire es el típico evento donde pasa de todo pero nunca pasa nada. Muy pobre en todas sus líneas y que solo se salva en un par de números gracias al dibujo de Andrea Sorrentino.

There were moments of relevancy, particularly in the epilogue when we're summing up just why we made Captain America the world's most inclusive Nazi (for example, the legality of the Hydra Supreme's actions and how they were made possible by reactive laws), but those moments were too few and too late, dominated by a ponderant narration accompanying beats intended to be resonant that actually did and said nothing.
And I'm like 100% done with Hydra's magical bullshit, in comics and in the movies. This was the wrong place to come in with a magical do-over since tonally, this clearly wanted to be super-gritty-hardcore-ultradark realism (laughable) and therefore should've found its solution in realism.
