I’m sure if you like spicy books, this is a good one, but no matter how I try, I just don’t like them. My star rating isn’t a reflection of the book but more of a reflection of my general dislike of the genre it’s in and inability to separate my distaste for the genre from the quality of the book.

I would have liked to see more of Erin and Warren after they decide to give a relationship a try. So much of what's holding them back are the paths their lives are on. (i.e Erin's job, Warren's military career etc) Seeing them actively working towards their goal of a future together would have been very satisfying IMO.

His To Take is nice read that was heartwarming in parts and in other parts it was hot. I liked it but I felt like I didn't really get a good sense of the characters and their relationship.

Probably more of a 3.5 stars. Definitely a good smutty book if you’re wanting to read something fast. I’m sure I’d also rate it higher had I started at the beginning of the ser. I’ll add this to my read again in series order.
