Writing the Truth is a solid addition to the Barefoot Gen series. Corruption abounds in this sixth volume where relationships are strengthened and characters are stretched to their max. The story really picks up some of the loose threads made in the last volume and ties them together. In some of the earlier volumes, the story has bounced around considerably, the author clearly hoping to address every angle of post-bomb Hiroshima; in this volume, the story is much more concentrated and the minor characters are becoming more than mere props for the plot.

Musim panas 1948.
3 tahun setelah bom Hiroshima mulai hidup kembali.

Hmmm....
