I have enjoyed this authors other story Chasing Riddick. I enjoyed this one too.
However, I felt like it was very long and there a aparts that are so good within the story but others I didn’t think needed to happen. The ending twist and that no.
The extra trama I did t like but it’s fine. I gave it a 4 because it felt repetitive in some areas and I felt like for such a long story there should be no open parts.
But that’s it. It was good and I liked it but that’s a it.

Absolutely loved the book. Cal and Ryan were perfect.
But along the lines, I felt ryan's character had a very drastic change. Felt very different from the start of the book 😞 but given the circumstances I will not complain but there was a change of person there.
Cal was just lovable from all the angles. The trauma was clearly described and the love between them was shown how clearly it was healing cal.
I felt the book the dragged unnecessarily long at some parts. Damien surely a roach.
I thought the paranormal was a major highlight in the book which made me pick but that was surely sidelined and used only when necessary.
It was majorly highlighting trauma and fighting the villain here and Ryan put down his foot to get back his love was somewhere healing for me too.
Cause let's be real, I am never gonna get this type of love in real life😞😭
