Oh my...

There is no such thing as a love that encompasses both destruction and Resurrection, but that's what we have here.

Isla is fierce. Auburn red hair, lithe figure, an uncanny use of all sarcasm languages, and the title of immortal as a vampire. Her family hates her, wants her dead, and she basically scoffs at then, flips them off and continues down her merry way. I relate to that more than I feel I should.

Rhys book was extraordinary. I'm so ready to dive into the second one.

I am sorry, I really did not like this Authors writing style, it is so choppy and broken up. She starts with a thought and then vanishes into the backstory for a while and then re-emerges back to present. And then I am scrambling to figure out what the original scene was so I can catch up.
It literally made me angry, not in a frustrated at the character way, but in the broken cadence. Like I got seasick while reading. Its too much.
Granted, I was just coming off the masterpiece that is 'The Last Hour of Gann", but the writing style really throws me off. And I hated how she had these deep inner thoughts and then would answer so flippantly in conversation, just back and forth, back and forth, exhausting!
Sorry, huge nope.

This was a great paranormal romance but I just feel like something was missing. Maybe Isla and Thorne’s romance was too rushed? Maybe I wanted Isla and Rick to have a shot at romance?

This was really really good. Isla was honestly perfect. Sassy and sarcastic and fckn kickass, she was an awesome heroine. Both Thorne and Emrick were great too, hot and smart and yummy alpha.

I didn't give this 5 stars because I don't think I felt enough connection from Isla. Thorne always seemed several steps ahead of her emotion-wise. Which makes sense with her character, but it left me wanting a little bit more.

However, the World was great, the secondary characters were great, the dialogue was a little rambly, but the plot was just so much fun and really kept me interested.

The cliffhanger ending was great too but only because I was expecting it.... Can't wait for book 2!

Exciting and hilarious

I Loved Fatal Harmony! Definitely fixed my Vampire fix! Islam was hilarious and my favorite female vamp Ever! This book was such a delightful surprise! A gem! It was completely unexpected and addictive! I finished it in one day, staying up till 2am just to finish it! The characters were great and action was epic! Islam is Everything! She’s fierce, kick@**, gives zero f***s and has great taste! Lol her dialogue was to die for! She is a beacon for trouble! The situations she finds herself in are crazy! I hate her family and love her friends! There is much more going on than we know and I can’t wait to find out!

As far as paranormal romances go, this is definitely one of the best that I have read! I mean, with a bad ass vampire and a sexy vampire slayer, who wouldn't love it? This was definitely a refreshing take on vampire romances that was different from the typical male vampire female human romances. The take on good and evil is something that I find myself agreeing with, and something that I think adds to the story as a whole.

For some inexplicable reason, I was expecting a dark paranormal erotica novel featuring an m/f/m menage…?
