In the edition I was reading, the first 280 pages were somewhat better than the last 100 pages (the entire book was 430 pages, including index etc.) - to an extent where I'd probably have given the book 5 stars if the level hadn't dropped a bit towards the end.

I'll probably recommend this book to some of my work colleagues. It's a good book with some very valuable learnings which will change how you see the world.

Several professors in different classes throughout my software eng degree recommended the class to read this book.

Finally got around to it, and it definitely met the expectations! What a great read, I'll never look at anything the same way, and I hope to apply all these points to any tool I build in the future :)

Overall great read and likely warrants a reread at some point in the future

I have no idea why it took me more than a year to read this. It is interesting and informative from beginning to end and offers valuable considerations for designing any system.

Don Norman's book is a transformative read. Whether you're a product or UX designer or just a consumer it will change the way you look at the world and interact with things around you. It's a terrific book for young people to read because of the way it shapes one's thinking - regardless of their interests.
