"Wear whatever you want, Tink. I know how to fight." should be the new pledge of allegiance.

Enjoyable read, good balance between real life problems and fun silly romance without too much drama

Avery Keelan is one of my fave hockey romance authors and I was so happy read about Tyler and Seraphina.

She’s the sister of Tyler’s best friend and hockey team mate so we know we have forbidden romance tropes all over the place.

They have a one night stand where they don’t know each other at a costume party. They only know each other by their costume names, Hades and Tink (Tinkerbell).

They both cannot get the other out of their minds and when Seraphina moves to town, she moves into her brother’s house, which happens to be Tyler’s house.

Forced Proximity - yesss!

The spice in Avery’s books is so good. She knows how to write ✍️

I will hear no bad words about these books. I hold all other hockey romance books to this standard. I want easy to read, possessive men, lots of spice and a HEA.

I enjoyed this book! I liked the development of the relationship between Tyler and Sera ◡̈ The smut was tasteful and I’m glad there wasn’t a terrible fallout between Tyler and Chase. But the biggest critique I have is the way the book ends so quickly. It left me thinking, “that’s it??”
And the super fast forward happily ending. I expected more from the whole cancer gene thing and more tension from Chase. Like he slams hockey pucks into Tyler during practice then gets over it.. okay? And she’s sad about carrying the gene.. boom has kids.. It just felt very rushed at the end with a slap of Happily Ever After featuring The Kids :/
