The ADHD rep was so nice and seeing Tyler really show up for Sera when she needed extra support with her moms diagnosis! I like that she never changed her personality for him. She is girly and loves pink and he only wanted her as she was. I also really liked that they kept their nicknames for each other to keep their secret.

SPOILERS:
THIS BOOK IS 4 stars because it lacks what is needed to be a 5 star but its still an amazing book.

Tink and Hades are the best. i LOVE them together so much that this is my #2 book I read whenever i need something happy.

Perfection!
Without a doubt one of the best books I have read in 2024!

This is the second book of Avery Keelan’s I have read and it only solidified my obsession with her writing and stories! I whipped through Chase and Baileys book in one sitting so I had high hopes that this book was going to be exact same BUT this book exceeded my expectations!! This book was absolute perfection! Sorry Chase!!

We met Tyler in Offsides, he is best friends to Chase; he’s the sarcastic goalie who only wanted to have a good time. Tylers No BS mentality comes from an overwhelming amount of pressure and he uses a “good time” to try and relieve some of that stress. Enter Sera, his new roommate and his best friends sister. She is also the one night stand he can’t seem to forget about. Once Sera enters the picture permanently we get to see Tyler in a completely different light especially when it comes to her. He is beyond sweet with her, he treats her so damn well its total swoon worthy. He falls for her before he even allows himself to realize it, you see it in the way he treats her with such affection.

And their nicknames for each are chefs kiss — he calls her TINK and she calls him HADES!

Sera is without a doubt one of the most relatable FMC ive read in a very long time! EVERYTHING about Sera I resonate with, it was pretty much like reading about myself the entire time! Some of the things I constantly get crap for she does within the book and its absolutely hysterical; her constantly leaving things open, being beyond indecisive and never being able to go out without looking it up first.

There are soooo many sides to Sera I absolutely LOVE how Avery wrote her. Shes not one dimensional like some FMC I have read in the past. She taught herself to be strong because some view her ADHD as a weakness but with Ty she allows herself to be vulnerable. She is BEYOND sassy with everyone but she is the sweetest with those closest to her especially Ty. Her emotions throughout this book were so real and so raw it’s what made her so relatable.

The chemistry between these two were off the charts — melt my phone HOT! Even though they tried to fight the pull they have towards each other it was a lost cause because they couldnt stay away. They were each others rock in so many pivotal moments, they were meant to be. They are soulmates! I LOVED how without even realizing it they were healing each other from their demons and breaking down each others walls. And we can’t forget the banter between these two, whether is was just their texts or their constant rounds of 21 questions they were always there for each other without having to even try.

I loved how this story like Chase’s it incorporates past characters but also knew characters that add so much to the friendship aspect of the book. We got to watch Chase’s protectiveness towards Sera even though at times it was slightly overboard but he truly loves his sister.

Just like with Chase’s book there isn’t a single thing I dont LOVE about this book! Absolute perfection! This will definitely be a multiple read for me!

I was a little hesitant about reading this book because Tyler was only in the first book a handful of times, and Seraphina only appeared in a bonus chapter, so I didn’t think I knew them well. My concern ended up being unnecessary because I feel I know them so much better now.
Ty was supportive and patient. Not to mention thoughtful. I realized I was taken with the guy when he bought Sera decaf coffee because that was the only kind she drank, and the thoughtfulness didn’t stop there.
I could relate to Sera so hard. The anxiety, the spiraling. I felt so many things reading her point of view of the experiences she went through.
I loved how the two of them communicated so effectively and made each other feel comfortable by some reassuring words. I could really feel their chemistry.

TW: parent with breast cancer, discussion of BRCA1 gene, cannabis use

not too shabby but absolutely not revolutionary (but maybe i’ve had an overexposure of hockey romances)

also what is the deal with the third part in this series? because i love me some reid

Solid book and romance but not at all up to par with the first book in series. I thought I would hate it considering how much condensed it is compared to the first book and how little plot there was. The main characters are amazing, as is their love story. But I would’ve loved a more in depth story, with some of the same intrigue as the first book. It was all to easy how everything just fell into place since the only thing in the couples way was themselves.
