I didn’t love offside but wanted to give this one a chance! It’s a brother’s teammate and friends with benefits romance set in college. I might be nudging out of the NA romances but I just didn’t feel like much happened. Seraphina (chase’s sister from book 1) moves in with the hockey guys while her mom battles breast cancer. She is also dealing with the potential of having th BRCA 1 gene.

Tyler is a goalie that is destined for the NHL and doesn’t have time for relationships. He recognizes Sera (Tink) from when they hooked up at a party where things were kept anonymous. They start to become friends, then friends with benefits to more.

I just didn’t feel like much happened. Sera had a bad friend and this friend’s brother kept hitting on her. She had to deal with school, her mom, and her own health.

I don’t know if my opinion will change with time, but the writing was good and the author made this one shorter than offside (thankfully).

I loved offside but this one just didn’t have the same effect. I kind of forgot about it and had to come back to it. I think I just didn’t love the characters as much although they had depth.

cute little book i love it. i think i preferred the first book in the series to this one but i wasn’t disappointed. sera and tyler are so very cute together, but i sadly prefer chase and bailey i can’t get over their banter.

Wenn man nen Plot sucht, wird man hier nicht fündig. Die Story folgt Seraphina und Tyler. Tylers ganze Persönlichkeit besteht daraus, Goalie zu sein und sehr verbissen auf sein Ziel, als Profi in New York zu spielen, hinzuarbeiten. Er redet grundsätzlich nicht viel und ist eigentlich sehr grumpy. 
Seraphina hat keine Freunde, außer eine alte "Kindheitsfreundin", die sie immer nur auf Partys mitschleift und sonst einfach total oberflächlich ist. Sie hat ADHS und ist dementsprechend sehr clumsy und gerät leicht in Panik, zerbricht sich über alles den Kopf. 
Sie zieht bei ihrem Bruder Chase ein, der mit Tyler zusammemwohnt. Den Rest kann man sich denken. 
Die Chemie und Tension zwischen den beiden ist allerdings trotzdem echt sweet und kurzweilig zu lesen. Tyler ist echt cute zu Seraphina und hat an anderen Stellen nen ganz schön dirty mouth. 

Wer einfach nur eine süße Hockey College Romance lesen will, ist hier definitiv gut unterhalten!
