A very sweet book about a possum and her relationship with her family, mainly two brothers. It's a cute read for someone who is just starting to read lengthier books, but still needs the adolescent content.

I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because the book rushes quite a bit toward the end. It's relatively drawn out for the first 35ish chapters, and then the last five just seem to tumble out quickly, then the book is over. I would have enjoyed it more if the author had put just as much detail into the ending as she did the rest of the book.

I listened to this in the car with my kids. The characters were charming and the writing was clever (my daughter appreciated many of the little jokes in there for the more sophisticated readers). I even loved learning a lot about possums along the way

A great read aloud for K-5! Loved listening to Dustin Hoffman read this sweet story. I'm a big fan of Holly Goldberg Sloan!

Read this as a school-wide event and I was not a fan. Didn’t love the plot or some of the suggestive content. Do not recommend.
