I'm just confused. I jumped all over, I didn't follow it very well as to how it got from place to place to place. I might revisit it before continuing the series and if I do, I'll update my review. In the mean time, I enjoyed it....I think...
I don't love this, but I hate westerns, Dystopian or not.

Man this was hard to finish. I only did because the second is apparently better but i dont know if ill even try to read it
This book is an absolute slog of half realized ideas smashed together to create something that’s supposed to seem profound and allegorical.
Giving it more than the bare minimum because you can atleast imagine King snorting fat lines of coke between swigs while mashing away at a typewriter.

First a bit dragging but once I got caught up with the parallels between our world and the book's past world and other awesome details there are, the story became quite captivating.
