Book #2 in the series...I enjoy the historical aspect put into these books. This one was focused on the historical figure Mozart--and since I play the piano I was very intrigued. Like the 1st book, it's not for small children with it's level of plot with danger and such.

My kids (4th and 2nd graders) are really digging this series. Fast-paced, boy and girl protagonists, short chapters - good for kids who don't love reading, and as a classroom read-aloud.

It’s a cute continuation of the story from the first book. I’m hooked at this point!

I think having different authors write each book is an interesting idea but Amy and Dan feel like slightly different characters in this one. I liked Dan a little less here and Amy a little more also I like that there was more Nellie and I hope we get more of her in the next one she’s fun. Overall still enjoyed the book and liked that we got more background and saw more of the family interactions

This was always one of my favourite ones of the ones I've read. I love the references to music and Marie Antoinette.
