Great character development on both protagonists but the third act was unnecessary drama. Especially since they're both adults and behaved like children. Overall nice quick read

Really enjoyed this book. It was a very original and interesting plot. Loved the forced proximity trope, their chemistry was amazing. My favorite character was Maddox, I loved to see how he matured throughout the book.

I had to deduct a star due to Damon’s sister, Stacy. I’m assuming she was supposed to be this hilarious and quirky character. She was actually extremely unlikable and obnoxious. She took things way too far to the point that she pretty much acted like a bad sister and friend.

Also the third act conflict was a bit silly but I appreciate that it was not dragged out and was resolved relatively quickly.

Overall, it was a very fun and heartwarming read. Damon and Maddox were great together. Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to continue the series.

I thought the book was pretty good. It was witty and cute. The 3rd act conflict was unnecessary though. It felt like it was added just to extend the length of the book
