Cameron, Cameron, Cameron - amazing man. And Elise, so damn strong and brave. I'm still a little stunned but this book was great and had a lot of layers to it, all entwining and mingling. I really adored the approach to tougher subjects (SA, trust, blackmailing) and how deep an emotional connection can become very quickly.
Between car chases, concerts, mountains, fires and ice cold water this was a treat! Just as Cameron is. I had wished for a liiiittle more spice but the spice we got was sweet and short while the plot was intriguing yet easy to grasp.

Fast paced, interesting, and entertaining
What the heck can I say about this book. The story was constantly moving, flowing easily as water down a stream. Elise is an intense character, that is so easy to like, even in her darkest times. And Cameron.

Elise does not do herself any favors when she first gets to Scotland to hid out from life and Cameron bless him has the patients of a saint with her especially while still recovering from his injuries. As it slowly comes to light why Elise is in hiding and what she is going through you are glad Cameron is there for her and I must admit I did have a good laugh at what she did to her ex's car and how Cameron gets dropped in it about his crush. Both are a little lost with their lives and meet at the perfect time where they can both use someone to lean on and trust, Cameron's alpha streak sure doesn't hurt either. It's going to be a rocky road for them and plenty of challenges, reality checks and so much more but it's worth it just like all good things in life!
