Black Rabbit Hall by Eve Chase is a free NetGalley ebook that I read in late January. Since the synopsis tripped by trigger as a Sarah Waters fan, I thought I'd give this English manor house fiction novel a try.

Way too starched and customary for my tastes - plus the dual third-person storyline was very in-Sarah-Waters-like.

This book has so many elements that I love-- first and foremost, it being centered around a vast, sweeping gothic house. I just love that shit. But it also had duel time periods/POVs that intertwine, gothic touches, little bit of suspense and mystery, just to name a few. It was simply fantastic, I can't really complain about a thing.

Un libro del que tenía 0 expectativas y salí fascinada por la forma en la que escribe la autora y la historia en sí.

So hay algo que disfruto enormemente son aquellas historias que están narrada a dos tiempos y en punto terminan conectándose; y este fue uno de esos libros.

Hay partes del "futuro" en donde se mencionan muy por encima como la descripción de algunos muebles y que en el "pasado" te muestran como tal la importancia e historia de ellos.

Debo de decir que en ningún momento me aburrí a la hora de leer, con cada final de capítulo quería seguir leyendo más y más y más.

¿Lo volvería a leer? Pero claro que sí.
