5 short Christmas themed romance stories. Good to get a taste of different authors before delving into their full works. Found some of them really grating (see individual reviews ). Overall it was brain fairy floss to read this collection.
Im in love with this couple, i love how they've known each other since ever, and even though they were always bickering over each other thei actually have their own little lovey dovey moment

These were little festive bite sizes filled with cuteness, heat and romance.
- Cruel Winter with you: I liked that we got the history of Marc and Jamie and what led up to this stormy Christmas. Some heavy personal issues for the Jamie which could not be fully delved into since it was a novella. But enjoyed it overall.
- Merry ever after: As always with TB very hot. Nice chemistry between the leads Evie and Luke. Cute short story with heat.
- All by my elf: This was okay, but did not grab me. My least favourite in the collection.
- Merriment and mayhem: Okay but again did not grab my attention.
- Only Santa’s in the building: really liked the title, premise, our leading lady and our leading man.
Overall for the whole collection 3.5

Eine bunte Sammlung romantischer Weihnachtsgeschichten, perfekt für die gemütliche Jahreszeit. Leider konnten mich nicht alle Stories komplett überzeugen.
Im Mittelpunkt steht überall die Liebesgeschichte und fast alle gehen in Richtung Insta Love, was nicht immer so ganz mein Fall ist.
Meine Highlights waren definitiv A Cruel Winter with You und All by My Elf. Beide konnten mit etwas mehr Tiefe und einer besser aufgebauten Romanze punkten.
Merriment and Mayhem und Only Santas in the Building waren okay, aber haben bei mir keinen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen.
Ein echter Reinfall war für mich Merry Ever After. Die Sprache war unangenehm und alles wurde viel zu schnell auf die sexuelle Ebene gezogen, das hat mir leider gar nicht gefallen.

This was a selection of fast-paced and light-hearted stories set around the festive period. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy them. It was a selection of huge guys and tiny women whose instalust overtook them at breakneck speed. I wasn't sure what I'd expected but it wasn't short bursts of smut. I found these mini Hallmark movies annoying and icky (except for the one by Olivia Dade). My thoughts on each short story are detailed below.
Cruel Winter with You - Ali Hazelwood | ⭐️💫
A typical Aliverse story. Tall and successful guy, small and insecure gal, unnecessary suspense (just tell us what happened already), "why am I like this" thinking pattern, family issues, ridiculous miscommunication, unrealistic etc. Nothing new. Plenty annoying.

One word: ew.
All by My Elf - Olivia Dade | ⭐️⭐⭐⭐
A classic Olivia Dade story. Completely oblivious but hopeful main characters, and a plot full of heart. I liked it.
