Feral Moon: This was very fast paced. In the book it only took a few hours it seemed, maybe a night. The sex scenes were arousing, but after a bit they seemed overdone. The threesome aspect seemed out of place.
Panther Moon: This one was a bit longer and had more story to go with the sex. Some very sad bits. The books say that multiple partners are required to force the female to shift (sex is consensual, and not even rape play since I used 'force'), but they only vaguely go into the why of it. Makes it feel a bit bare there.
Jaguar Hunger: In the third book, the triad is a true and permanent relationship. In the others it was a friend of more helping get one males mate through her change. This one is probably my favorite just for that difference. It seems to be a different pack so that could be an explanation. I love that they threw in a tidbit about donating to a domestic violence shelter.
Tinderbox: This one was more sex than story while still making it sweet. The males in this book were also doubly mating Olivia unlike the first two books. It acts like a series, but doesn't quite explain the differences. Since they bring in Violet and her men for a paragraph I suppose they're part of the same shifter group.
Spanish Topaz - bonus story not about shifters: So this story was completely unexpected. It features two humans, two spirits, and a magic dagger. It was an interesting premise.
I received a copy of this book at no charge.
