If you already know a lot about skincare, this won't be new information for you. But nice for beginners.
Read it through once and I know it will be something I come back to continually. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 bc I felt like the chapters felt a bit out of order.
Opinionated and useful. I have been very confused about skincare and now feel like I understand what I need, what I don't, and what order to use things in.
I actually already have a lot of the stuff I need, I've just been using it wrong or it's sat there because I didn't know what to do with it. And I have a (short) shopping list to fill in the gaps.
I know a lot of people don't like her, and I don't buy the hype of following her every word, but this is a useful book. (Especially as I got it for 99p in a Kindle sale).

I've suddenly come to the realisation I'm in my 30s and taking care of my skin is something I needed to do like a decade ago. This is such a clear guide on everything skincare and I've taken so many tips from it

Caroline Hirons is a British skincare guru. Unlike some other skincare gurus, she doesn’t look like she’s got a painting in the attic. She looks like a normal middle-aged woman with good skin. Her no-nonsense style, focusing on understanding and layering ingredients, makes you feel like better skin is achievable. I’ve had this book for over a month and my skin looks pretty much the same. I like the book though.
