I love reading book with disabled characters and this book was no exception. I didn’t go into it knowing about the kink content, but it was all explicitly consensual and well written

This was suchhh a good listen! The narrators did an amazing job portraying the characters and giving the story life and feeling. This is a really beautiful story about how the right one will do everything in their power to make sure you feel comfort and seen. I love the disability representation in this book. The conversation around deafness as it relates to our community and the family dynamic isn’t talked about enough. With consistent practice one can achieve basic fluency in ASL within a few months to a year so the people around her not learning it is truly a testament to how little fucks people really gave about her and I hated it so much for my girl. Dude was a typical bad boy with mommy and daddy issues. I’m glad he didn’t let that define him and he was still open to love and be loved. I love the way Tay wrote these characters and I think she told this story very well. This narration was a cherry on top. I also really love the cover.

Nakyra is about to marry her college love, yeah there relationship isn’t perfect, but whose is? Late one night she gets a call saying he had been in a horrible accident and is in a coma. Not knowing how else to support her fiancé, while dealing with her horrible in-laws, she calls his estranged brother to keep him in the loop. Once the brother gets in town, she realizes maybe she is marrying the wrong brother. This is one of those stories that is super hot in book format but it is too messy to even think about happening in real life. I really liked the way the author described Nakyra’s deafness and her support system, it was not something I have encountered in a romance book before.

Great story! Loved both characters but especially Creed. He was so sweet. Nakyra had great character development too. Love can come in at the craziest times. This story proved it! Another Banger by Tay Mo’Nae.
