S'alright. Well written.

Nurse Georgia Williams grew up as the sheltered daughter of a fire and brimstone preacher who treaed his wimmin folk very differently from his sons. Basically the daughters were home-schooled and blamed for all of Eve's sins. Georgia had the poor luck to get assaulted by a friend of the family and ended up pregnant. Preacher Dad kicked her out while mom and siblings stood by and watched. Now she is a single mom who works the night shift in a military hospital and tries to make ends meet.

Lt. Christian Howard is a marine who ends up in the hospital after a harrowing assault on his team in Afghanistan. He's alone without family and connects with the sweet nurse.

This is a fairly a sweet romance that follows these two lonely people who fall in love.

One thing... I had to keep checking the cover to make sure this was actually an IR romance. The hero is described and he is white, but there is nothing really in the book that codes the heroine as non-white. There is little to no description of her. Her race is never once alluded to. I thought she was white much of the book. There is finally a mention of her sister having brown skin. But yeah that is it. So odd that she is such a blank.
