This novella is beautiful. It's 74 pages of beauty and sadness and I loved it. Parts of it hit very close to home, and it made me cry. I tabbed so many quotes while I was reading it, it's so well written and I know it will stick with me.

All life stages are shown in this book and put into perspective. We see the effect of a cognitive decline on a family. A grandpa, a son and grandson are all trying to make sense of life when remembering gets too hard. Very moving read. No judgement required just acceptance and love life is hard enough.

”that’s one good thing about forgetting things. you forget the things that hurt too.” 😭❤️🩹
Backman delivers a short yet utterly impactful story as we read about a grandfathers journey with Alzheimer’s.
Make sure to have tissues handy because this one will hit you right in the feels!!
