This was a difficult read because my father-in-law has Alzheimer’s and his way home is very long now. This story was very good and brought me to tears several times.

Very sweet and touching story about losing people you love to Alzheimer's disease (it isn't stated from which condition the grandpa suffers but it's very probable that it's Alzheimer's). I find some bits of it too children's-book-like (which this kind of is?) but other than that, it's a very enjoyable, tender and heart-warming book. My only "problem" with the book is that I thought it would be longer (because it says "a novella" on the cover). To me, this is more of a short story.
