This book gripped me from the very start. The fact that it is set in South London made it quite familiar and very realistic, and I most enjoyed hearing about Esso's present day ordinary struggles. It also tells the story of Rhia, 15 years in the future, and reveals how Esso and Rhia's stories intertwine. But the overall message of the book is about the complicated and amazing ways that time can work, and includes lots of physics and equations (that I didn't understand). The storyline constantly kept me on the edge of my seat as it surprised me with more and more plot twists. This book was about a subject that I had never read about before and it almost blew my mind. Highly recommend.
