A fast paced look at many women who often go unsung in mainstream culture. Stories ranging from Hedy Lamar and Josephine Baker, who are internationally famous, to Giorgiana Reid, who saved her local lighthouse with a traditional approach, and Frances Glasner Lee, who created miniature replicas of crime scenes to help change USA criminal forensics.
A great addition to High School library collections to introduce many strong, diverse women in a fun easily accessible format. Illustrations are fun and the consistency and subtle changes as characters would age between panels was excellent.

I had to skip a few stories that were overly graphic, but overall I think it was a good introduction to several overlooked women throughout history who made their mark.
