I absolutely adore this book so much that I would totally own it. I loved reading about such a variety of women and their stories were absolutely fascinating. I love the comic strip style and it is such a great way to read many short biographies in one volume. I can't recommend this enough!

I want to give this more stars because I love this idea and the presentation but there were definite issues. I saw mistakes with some of the details (I.e. She specifically mentions that Delia Akeley lived to be 100 in the text but lists 1875-1970 as her years of life.) It also doesn’t include any type of source page or bibliography. As some reviewers have said, this leans almost overly feminist, painting every man as pretty worthless and most religious views as confining. It is a beautiful book and a fantastic idea.

Brilliant graphic novel that every person should read. This is one I will go back to again and again. It has made me want to learn even more about these amazing women, some of whom I am ashamed not to have known about sooner!

Such a wonderful introduction into many women in history that I only knew of in passing or hadn't heard of at all! 29 short biographies, done in a graphic novel format. I am definitely doing to do some more research into some of these women and maybe even read more in-depth biographies of them. Wonderful for someone who wants a quick read with historic and factual basis.

Every single story of these rebel women was so wonderful, but the way that Bagieu ended it left me in happy tears. What a beautiful send off to a perfect book.

Awesome and charming, I might go look up more information on these ladies.
