I love this series but a lot of the things Persephone keeps doing in this book made me just want to shake her haha. Like girl why do you always have to do things that you think are right? Not everything is about you and how you want them to be. But still love love this series. I can’t get enough. Immediately started the next book.

What the f*ck is this? Persephone SUCKS - literally one of my least favorite characters in a book, ever. EVER. The entire book is endlessly the same miscommunication problem, perpetuated by her, over and over and over and over and over again? The smut scenes are repetitive - Hades tastes like smoke and ash, his magic blah blah blah.

But the real offensive fucking thing here? Lexa? Her entire storyline? Is.... was... that a joke? It was so rushed, HORRIBLY written and the purpose is that Lexa kills herself so Persephone can be the best version of herself? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT???????? WHERE IN THE STORY LINE IS LEXA "holding her back" from anything? EVER? I was FURIOUS reading this. I hate that I have to finish a series and will read the third, especially when this book made me so angry. Horrible writing, horrible plot (or lack thereof) and horrible, horrible handing of a character death. Trash.

The last one was kind of like this too, but this one followed a very clear pattern of Hades constantly telling Persephone not to do something, her doing it, him showing up, them fighting, and them making up. Over and over again. That's the entire book. It makes me laugh though and keeps me entertained so yes I'm continuing the series!
