The Innkeeper of Ivy Hill (Tales from Ivy Hill #1) by Julie Klassen – Jane knows she doesn’t have the knowledge to turn her country inn around in time to pay off her debts. Asking a mother in law that resents you for help is hard enough, but Jane has more problems from her past knocking on her door! This one has the pacing of a meander on a country lane, but I loved the characters! Happy Reading!

A pleasant read. I enjoyed the goings-on and relationships in the village of Ivy Hill. The author deftly unfolded the various storylines, leading up to a fairly exciting culmination at the end. I'll certainly read the next in the series!

I enjoyed a break from heavy reading with this lighter fare--enough intrigue and concerns over character issues to be stimulating, but over all a lovely happily-ever-after for some people. I'm checking out the next one in the series!
