For some reason, I thought
Sally
would make it. I would classify this as horror fantasy because I felt horrified at the end.

A very unique take on "Peter Pan". I loved how dark and twisted it was. As the story progresses, you slowly start to realise who the main character really is and that only makes the story even more interesting. What if Peter Pan was the true villain in the story? This is the question this story answers. And it does it in a marvellous way. However, there were times that I found it a bit slow and repetitive. Overall, it was an enjoyable read and an entertaining retelling of Peter Pan.

it was aight. reminded me v much of lord of the flies. it was well written and the story was pretty dang cool to read, especially at the end. the ending when everything came together was quite fun to read. my biggest complaint is the pacing. it felt like the book just dragged on and on. i felt like I was reading the same thing over and over again. it wasn't bad at all, just long and drawn out. i think the fact that I don't know the story of peter pan like at all made this book more enjoyable to me. i didn't know captain hook's story at all (and idk if this even true or whatever) but it was quite cool to learn his backstory. i had a good, albeit long, time. i liked her other book better, but this is still good. she is a really good author. would recommend.
