This book is about Mary who was prosecuted for killing a baby. She is now living in a group home. The writing is good. Some parts are dark and hard to read. Overall it's a sad story. I really felt for Mary. The ending of the book came rather sudden. I didn't like the ending, because there are too many unanswered questions.

Okay. So. This book ended up pissing me off in the best way possible.
Throughout the book you can’t help but feel sympathetic for our main character, just to find out she actually did it in the end. As the reader, the question was always in the back of my mind but I didn’t think it would actually turn out this way.
So NO MA’AM you do not deserve to keep that baby!
I just cannot believe that after everything this child went through, she still ripped my heart out, stomped on it, and laughed in my face.
