I really have not been enjoying the sequel series. However, I did like the ending, which I am glad I did because otherwise, I think I would have been sad to have spent my time reading the books to get to this point.

My complaint: Story is meh and the writing is also not super compelling (it is a light read though). It almost felt like the end was determined and all that lead to it, from #4 was thought up to finally get to the conclusion.

Everyone clap for me, I made it through TWO Eadlyn POV books. The number of times I said “oh my god, shut up” while reading this book was approximately 573. But yippee for happily ever afters for everyone (
except Celeste lol rip you big ol bitch ily
)✨

This book was so bittersweet. While I didn’t always love the main character I was still invested in all of them. At the end of this book some major changes happen and it just made me happy for the futures of everyone. This was such a good series. Highly recommend.

I did not think this would be possible, but the Crown surpasse the Selection and is now in my top reads of this year, and maybe of my top 10 of all time.

I gave this book this rating for a reason. Its doing a movie sequel in a book. Its taking all the characters that we grew to love and making their characters developed go out the window. Also, i am finally understanding why people doing like the last books. I couldn’t get past page 92 of this book. I feel like it has to do with the fact that I’ve read all the other books before this but, at the same time it could just be the story has gotten all messed up. I’m happy to say ill be reading no sequels in a couple days and when i do get to a series book it will be Percy Jackson.

It’s been a ride! A quick one but a ride. I am happy to have finished the selection series in just 9 days.

I enjoyed it. I felt like it wasn’t too exciting at any point but I did find myself building fake relationships with these characters and loving them.

The ending I wanted to see!
