A lovely, timeless, whimsical classic.

Alice falls down a rabbit hole and finds herself in Wonderland where adventures and all manner of creatures and characters await.

I listened to this on the Audrey app as part of the listen along and it was wonderful. The cast of narrators did a fantastic job and the guide notes from Simon were brilliant and extensive so there was plenty of information to explore; a rabbit hole all of its own.

A very enjoyable tale for all ages.

This was such a bizarre and oddly structured tale. I have been wanting to read this Classic for some time and I can’t express how underwhelmed I am. Reading this for the first time in 2023 is an odd thing. The Chapters read more like it was random short stories with slight connections to the previous Chapters; also while appearing as if there was a lot going on in Carroll’s head and not being put on paper. It was just a very bizarre story.

My favorite was the final pages (110-111) of Alice’s sister, I felt those final paragraphs were constructed so beautifully and I was able to appreciate the structure compared to the rest of the story.

I do not think that this particular book was worth the $17 I paid for it. I would have much rather bought the original at a used bookstore for less.

I was lucky to be picked as one of of the Giveaway Winners on StoryGraph, so I received the audiobook from Audrey.

Although I already know the story (like probably everyone), I never read the book or listened to it as audiobook, but I had seen the film.
I really liked the version of Audrey, it was beautifully illustrated and narrated. There is also lots of background information, which allows you to become somewhat of an expert on this Classic. 😃
